Graduate Architect

Guidon Design is seeking a full-time Graduate Architect for a position within a multi-disciplinary architecture and engineering firm. Duties will focus on the architectural design of commercial projects mainly healthcare (inpatient & outpatient) as well as non-profit, government and higher education projects ranging from $100k to + $40Mil in construction.  The firm has a dedicated focus on designing sustainably minded projects.  The position comes with a benefits package that includes full healthcare insurance, long-term disability, and 401k plan.

Required Skills:

  • Experience preparing construction documents using Revit.
  • Understanding of other computer applications used in a professional design office such as Photoshop, AutoCAD, and Sketchup
  • A strong work ethic and a drive to exceed client expectations.

Desired Skills:

  • An in-depth working knowledge of Revit as a design platform.

Architectural Project Manager

Seeking a full‐time Architect/Project Manager for a position within a multi‐disciplinary architecture and engineering firm. Must be a team-oriented professional, willing to invest in future professional growth. Duties will focus on the architectural design of commercial projects with a focus on Healthcare (Inpatient & Outpatient), Life Sciences and Government projects up to seventy million in construction. The firm has a dedicated focus on designing sustainably minded projects. Position includes full healthcare insurance, long‐term disability, bonus and generous 401k plan.

Required Skills:

  • A professional license to practice architecture.
  • A LEED Accreditation or ability to earn within 6 months.

Senior Accountant

Seeking a full‐time position within a multi‐disciplinary architecture and engineering firm. Duties will include working with the Controller to ensure proper accounting functions.  Position includes full healthcare insurance, long‐term disability, profit sharing, potential bonus, and 401k plan.

Required Skills:

  • An Accounting Degree from an accredited University with 4+ years of service experience.
  • Understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable functions including creating invoices, recording payments, and maintain customer and vendor files.
  • Ability to review timesheet entries of employees and ensuring accuracy.
  • Reviewing employee expense reports for accuracy and correct general ledger coding
  • Assisting Controller in month end closing processes including journal entries, recording revenue, and financial statement preparation
  • Banking: Prepare bank deposits, prepare bank reconciliations, and monitor bank charges.
  • A working knowledge of project costing and ability to ensure proper cost recording to projects
  • Ability to work with project managers to make sure project setups are completed as needed.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in Deltek Vision or QuickBooks Desktop accounting software
  • Knowledge of FAR accounting standards
  • Understanding of overhead rates and development of billing rates
