Graduate Architect

Guidon Design is seeking a full-time Graduate Architect for a position within a multi-disciplinary architecture and engineering firm. Duties will focus on the architectural design of commercial projects mainly healthcare (inpatient & outpatient) as well as non-profit, government and higher education projects ranging from $100k to + $40Mil in construction.  The firm has a dedicated focus on designing sustainably minded projects.  The position comes with a benefits package that includes full healthcare insurance, long-term disability, and 401k plan.

Required Skills:

  • Experience preparing construction documents using Revit.
  • Understanding of other computer applications used in a professional design office such as Photoshop, AutoCAD, and Sketchup
  • A strong work ethic and a drive to exceed client expectations.
  • A desire to grow professionally and work towards professional licensure.
  • A team-oriented professional willing to invest in their future.

Desired Skills:

  • An in-depth working knowledge of Revit as a design platform.

Duties will include:

  • Conceptually working to develop new building and renovation designs

Staff Development Coordinator

Seeking a part‐time position within a multi‐disciplinary architecture and engineering firm. Duties will include working with staff and leadership to find, improve and develop our staff.  Position includes potential bonus and 401k plan.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in managing hiring/recruitment for professional positions.
  • Competency in development of staff training plans and career advancement plans for employees of each discipline.

Seeking a full‐time Senior Interior Designer/Project Manager for a position within a multi‐disciplinary architecture and engineering firm. Duties will focus on the interior design of commercial projects with a focus on healthcare (inpatient & outpatient). Projects will range from $150k to +$70Mil in construction. The firm has a dedicated focus on designing sustainably minded projects. Position includes full healthcare insurance, long‐term disability, bonus, and generous 401k plan.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor degree in Interior Design
  • Registered Interior Designer and NCIDQ certified
  • Team-Oriented professional willing to invest in their future professional growth.
  • LEED Accreditation or ability to earn within 6 months.
  • Working knowledge of Revit as a design platform.
  • Detailed understanding of other computer applications used in a professional design office such as Photoshop, AutoCAD and Sketchup
