Project Architect/Architecture Graduate

Seeking a full-time graduate architect or licensed architect for a position within a multi-disciplinary architecture and engineering firm. Duties will focus on the architectural design of commercial projects mainly healthcare (inpatient & outpatient) as well as non-profit, government and higher education projects ranging from $150k to +$70Mil in construction.  The firm has a dedicated focus on designing sustainably minded projects.  Position includes full healthcare insurance, long-term disability, and 401k plan.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience preparing construction documents using Revit.
  • Ability to put together a high-quality set of construction documents for commercial buildings.
  • A detailed understanding of computer applications used in a professional design office such as Photoshop, AutoCAD and Sketchup
  • Ability to coordinate with outside disciplines to drive design documentation/solutions.
  • A strong work ethic and a drive to exceed client expectations.

BIM Manager

Guidon Design’s BIM Manager is a full-time position in a multi-disciplinary architecture, civil and structural engineering firm focused on healthcare and commercial design projects. Duties will include management of Architecture Department REVIT and CAD standards, content creation, standards implementation, and quality control during all stages of the design process.  The position will also provide drafting on architecture and structural design projects.  Position requires a high degree of working knowledge of Revit software including work-sharing, family editing, and family creation, as well as template and family browser management.  An ideal candidate would fully understand REVIT software and be able to put together architectural drawings sets.  Projects ranging from $500k-$50Mil.

Structural Engineer

Seeking a full-time Structural Engineer in Training for a position within a multi-disciplinary architecture and engineering firm.  This position will work as a design structural engineer on vertical building projects to include renovations, new multi-story buildings, parking garages, healthcare, higher education, and municipal projects. Experience with cast-in-place and precast concrete, steel framing, and wood structures is desired along with the ability to self-perform structural calculations with RAM structural software and design within Revit Structures.

The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of professional engineering experience. A degree in civil or architectural engineering with a structural emphasis or relevant coursework is required. PE or SE licensure is a plus, but not required. This is a growth opportunity for someone looking for a unique small multi-disciplinary firm culture.
